OSEE GoStream Duet 8 Overview
The GoStream Duet 8 ISO 8-Channel Live Stream Switcher from OSEE is a versatile, multisource live stream switcher with four physical inputs and four stream inputs. Boasting HDMI, SDI, NDI, RTMP, and SRT connectivity support, the switcher also offers two XLR microphone inputs and two 3.5mm audio inputs that may be selected as needed. The GoStream Duet 8 is brimming with essential production tools, including PGM and 8-channel ISO recorders, one upstream and two downstream keyers, and a built-in T-bar. There is also a 3.5mm headphone audio jack on the rear of the unit for quick and easy monitoring.
Flexible Physical and Stream Inputs
Connect IP cameras, PTZs, webcams, camcorders, mirrorless and SDI cameras, and remote guest connections without external converters, with comprehensive support for 3G-SDI, 4K HDMI, USB 3.0, NDI|HX, SD/SSD playback, SRT/RTMP, web browsers, and PNG images.
PGM and 8-Channel ISO Recorders
The GoStream can record all video inputs, program output, and audio. The recorders support MP4 H.264 recording and include two built-in MP4 video players for H.264 video file playback.
Support for Professional Audio
You can select to use the two built-in XLR microphone inputs or 3.5mm audio inputs to deliver professional-grade sound in podcasting. Condenser and dynamic microphones can be used, and the XLR inputs integrate 48V phantom power. A studio-grade preamp supports up to 75 dB of low-noise gain for sensitive microphones.
Next-Level Layout and Graphics Overlay
Multisource connectivity is augmented with four configurable windows, background or foreground, which are ideal for use in church video applications, podcasts, online meetings, remote guest and panel discussions, and TV-style professional live production. Two downstream keyers offer support for logos and lower-third overlays, while one upstream keyer aids flexibility for green screen keying, pattern, and PiP (Picture-in-Picture). Control offered via a web browser gives you access to dynamic overlays and real-time maps.
Multi-Platform Streaming and Worldwide Collaboration
The GoStream Duet 8 allows you to simultaneously stream to three different platforms. It can also extend connectivity to a multiview monitor, a PGM display, and a video wall.
Auto-Switching
Auto-switching allows the video switcher to automatically change video sources based on the audio signal. When the audio source changes, the video follows, allowing for seamless transitions without manual intervention. It allows for two-line audio detection auto-switching and can switch between close-ups, wide shots, and SuperSource.
Wide Range of Control Options
The GoStream Duet 8 can be controlled via its internal menu, and it offers Stream Deck and Companion support.
